Tommy`s Family Restaurant in Weaverville

My husband and I both really enjoyed our breakfast. It was really nice to stop at a local place while on our trip that had a real hometown vibe with tasty food. Our waitress was really sweet as well.

At the moment you come to this place the waiters give you an excellent feeling. Very hospitable team, it is a happy restaurant to hang out with friends and colleagues or with your date. very good meals, experienced chief cook and stuff, decent cost and excellent service. Highly recommended.

I travel to Asheville twice a year and every time I always make it a point to have breakfast at Tommy's. It's a classic American diner serving great breakfast. The staff is friendly and the food is excellent.

As a fellow person named Tommy I can't help but give this place 5/5 stars.

Great place for in the mountains. VERY generous portions. My husband and I can easily eat one platter and still have leftovers. They also have lots of other options from greek, home cooking and burgers. They also always have great options for dessert.

Always wonderful! Huge portions! Such sweet staff that goes out of their way to make sure everything is perfect. I have never had anything I did not like and the prices are so cheap for what you get. Prine rib is excellent!

Food was swimming so much in gravy to cover the burnt hard crust. The beef tips were over yellow rice? Isn’t that supposed to be white rice? We got drinks all right then the second drink she brought a cup of water and poured into our cups while I sat there in shock and disbelief. I will never ever eat there keep driving to downtown Main I’m sure you’ll find something better than dog food mush.

Never been here, but as a Tommy myself I gotta support my fellow Tommys. Would highly recommend, seems like a great place.

Wow. Like wow...someone recommend this place to my family. I wish I could have stayed longer to eat there at least one more time. I decided to be adventurous and have the flounder and it was absolutely delicious and to die for!! Our waitress was a delight and super friendly. I wish I could remember her name but its been 2 weeks. I would return if I could and maybe when I finally move to SC I just may for the heck of it this A+ restaurant.I wonder if Simple Rick's would taste this good? If only I could bottle up the memory of the flavor of the flounder forever.

Excellent place to stop for a bite to eat, a quick meal or a Leisurely lunch or a full meal. Prices are Very reasonable and the food is wonderful big portions! You won’t go hungry 😋

Usually food is okay and service is good but the other night we ordered take out and they forgot a Greek salad, fries and covered the food we ordered in gravy which we clearly said “no gravy”. As we called to tell them all we got out of it was a free side salad. So make sure when you order you make sure you get everything before they rip you off later.

The place is wonderful and spacious, the meals was enchanting and the rates were very affordable. quick, effective service and very attentive waiters. Recommended.

Tommy's is located on North Main Street in Weaverville, NC. Tommy and his family own and operate this establishment. They have friendly staff, and I love Ma-Ma, that's what I call her. She is the most wonderful person. This was the first time I had eaten a steak in years and it was so delicious that the sounds while I was eating it were almost too much for my family at the table with me!!! You cannot go wrong eating at Tommy's whether you live there or just passing through. Come on in and enjoy!!!!

The food is excellent as well as the servers. Great location. My husband had the chicken livers which were outstanding. Others in our party had the fried shrimp, spanakopita, gyro. Very delicious. The desserts looked great. Highly recommend!

This place surprised us! We never really noticed it before and we drive by almost everyday. We got recommended to try it and wow were we impressed! The food is great and they give you so much a family of 4 could about eat off one plate! Lots of variety when it comes to the menu as well! We will definitely go back here!

My wife and I LOVE this little "mom & pop" restaurants! It is probably one of the BEST KEPT secrets in the far North Asheville (Weaverville) area. We love the meals(portions... the THIRD side dish puts your meal here IVER THE TOP!), the prices are VERY reasonable and the owners and staff are genuinely rely friendly. If you leave Tommy's Family Restaurant it is YOUR OWN fault!!!

Tommy's is home cooked country food. You get breakfast, lunch and dinner for a great price. I always leave with leftovers, because there's alot of food on the plate! The service is great and the staff is always polite and helpful.
